	David Garfunkel Managing Member david@ajcgarfunkel.com David Garfunkel was born on November 15, 1953. He graduated from Jenkins High School in June of 1971, and attended the University of Miami. Majoring in Finance, he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in May of 1975. On September 1, 1975, David married Halle Epstein of Memphis, TN and is a father of four and grandfather of nine. On January 1, 1976 he began working for A.J. & C. Garfunkel and is the broker of the office. He has been called as an expert witness in the Superior Court of Chatham County in Real Estate matters. He has served as a past president of the Sertoma Club of Savannah; past president of the B'nai Brith Jacob Synagogue Brotherhood, served on the Board of Directors at the Jewish Educational Alliance, the Savannah Jewish Federation, the Rape Crisis Center, the Savannah Development and Renewal Authority, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce Roads Committee, Savannah Board of Realtors Building Committee, State of Georgia Real Estate Ethics and By Laws Committee; Foreman of the Chatham County Grand Jury; and is a Five Gallon Donor of the American Red Cross. In 2000, David formed Dagar, LLC which became David Garfunkel & Co., LLC in 2006. Last Year, David's transactions exceeded $101,000,000. His partnerships include holdings in Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Texas, Florida and North Carolina.
	Joseph Goldstein Senior Vice President joseph@ajcgarfunkel.com Joseph Goldstein grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA, and attended the University of Maryland before moving to Savannah in 1985. Joe owned and operated a service oriented company for nearly twenty years prior to joining A.J. & C. Garfunkel in November of 2000. With his entrepreneurial skills, Joe brings a confident and proven management style to our organization. He is currently an associate broker, licensed in the state of Georgia, and holds the title of Senior Vice President of David Garfunkel and Company. Joe oversees the day to day operations of the office, as well as organizing, creating and managing his own syndicated real estate transactions. He currently manages over 700,000 square feet of retail and multi-family space as well as directing our property management and leasing departments.
	Jacob Lehrfeld Senior Analyst jacob@ajcgarfunkel.com Jacob comes to us from Brooklyn, N.Y. He attended the Yeshiva of Far Rockaway and then continued his rabbinic studies at Ner Moshe Rabbinical Seminary in Israel for a number of years. In Israel, he was fortunate to meet Lina Garfunkel and they were married in 1997. After continuing his studies for a year, he settled in Savannah and assumed the position of Youth Director and Kollel member at Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob. At that time he studied Network Administration and Router Management at Savannah Technical College. Currently, he is the Senior Analyst on staff applying his keen logical mind in the analysis of financial scenarios for the firm. He and Lina are the proud parents of six children.
	A.D. Garfunkel Associate adg@ajcgarfunkel.com A.D. Garfunkel is the fourth generation of Garfunkels to join the business. A.D. joined the firm in July 2001. He has been working since then on the Real Estate side of the office. He is also in the process of getting licensed to sell Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance. He has experience managing shopping centers and properties in Alabama, Georgia, Ohio and South Carolina. A past board member of Rambam Day School, he currently serves on the board of directors of Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob.
	Louis J. Freedman Associate ljf@ajcgarfunkel.com Louis joined David Garfunkel & Co. as an associate in the summer of 2007. His primary role is to assist in both management and leasing of our extensive portfolio. He is a native of Savannah who previously worked in Hinesville, Georgia as the owner and head of operations of Freedman Electronics for twenty seven years . He is a graduate of the University of Georgia where he lettered in football for three years. He is an active member of the B.B. Jacob Synagogue, and Chevra Kaddisha, along with the Jewish Educational Alliance, where you can find him out on the field coaching little league baseball and flag football.
	Louis Lipsitz Associate louis@ajcgarfunkel.com Louis Lipsitz has been with A.J. & C. Garfunkel since 1991, involved primarily in the management and leasing of retail shopping centers and commercial office space in the Savannah area. He is also involved in buying and selling free-standing commercial properties. Louis is a native of Savannah and a United States Marine Corps veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He attended The American University on the G.I. Bill. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Georgia Restaurant Association. He is married and has three children.
	Lina Lehrfeld lina@ajcgarfunkel.com Lina (Garfunkel) Lehrfeld is vital to the organizational development, office management, and work-flow efficiency of David Garfunkel & Company. She is solely responsible for the peaceful and efficient ambiance in the office. Her ability to stay on top of everyone and everything at all times, coupled with her years of experience and professionalism, is why David Garfunkel & Company continues to successfully grow and serve their clients and investors with superior products and services. 	Janie Garfunkel Janie@ajcgarfunkel.com Janie represents the pinnacle of four generations, spanning 99 years, of Garfunkels devoted to providing sound real estate investments, impeccible integrity, and a proactive devotion to their clients and investors. She attended Armstrong State University, and brings to the table experience and knowledge in both advanced architectual design and commercial management. She has been working for AJ&C Garfunkel since 1997, and has been an integral member of David Garfunkel and Company since it's inception.
	Paula Cihla Property Accountant paula@ajcgarfunkel.com With the growth of David Garfunkel & Co., LLC, Paula joined the company in May of 2007. Paula hails from Minnesota where she worked for a corporate office that has been recognized with both local and national awards. Prior to that, she was an operational manager for a minor league baseball team for seven years. She brings to the table her knowledge of corporate accounts, collectibles and handles the CAM reconciliations for all properties.
