Charlie Garfunkel Managing Member charlie@ajcgarfunkel.com Charlie graduated from Boston University with a B.S.B.A. He majored in Accounting with a tax concentration. Charlie oversees operations, investments, development and the daily financial aspects of the company. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Charlie has served as President of the Coastal Georgia Chapter of ARMDI and serves on the Southeast Regional Board. He is a Past President of Congregation B'nai Brith Jacob and its Brotherhood, Past President of Rambam Day School, and a past board member of the Savannah Jewish Federation.

Jefferson Bennett Operations jefferson@ajcgarfunkel.com Jefferson holds a B.A. in English and Business from The University of South Carolina. Jefferson's responsibilities with Garfunkel Development are wide ranging with a focus on construction and development. Jefferson's experience includes project management, commercial and residential construction, commercial and residential lending, and real estate sales. He is a licensed general contractor in the State of South Carolina.

Doug Carroll Leasing doug@ajcgarfunkel.com Doug's responsibilities include leasing the company's retail portfolio as well as managing the ground lease and sales efforts of outparcels. Before joining Garfunkel Development, Doug focused on retail site selection, land acquisition and disposition for RaceTrac Petroleum. Doug also worked in various sales and marketing roles with Lithonia Lighting where he began his career. Doug holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management from Mercer University. Doug is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and an active member of the Atlanta chapter's NextGen committee.

Mandi Peno Executive Assistant mandi@ajcgarfunkel.com Mandi Peno obtained her bachelors degree in Business Management from Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, PA. She worked as a branch manager for Mobile Mini, Inc in Philadelphia, PA, Richmond, VA and Boston, MA. She relocated to Savannah in May 2006 to be closer to her family and after completing volunteer work in South Africa joined Garfunkel Development.

Tom Vetter Property Management tom@ajcgarfunkel.com Tom graduated from Allegheny College with a History degree including a research and reference internship at the Army War College in Carlisle, PA. He is a licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Georgia and oversees property management for the Garfunkel Development portfolio. Prior to joining Garfunkel Development Tom worked in retail management including his own entrepreneurial endeavors.

Kelly White Accounting kelly@ajcgarfunkel.com Kelly White joined the firm in 2007 as the staff accountant. She has 20 years of experience in the Real Estate/Property Management industry. She was employed by Reckson Associates Realty Corp., a leading commercial real estate investment trust (REIT) with over 20 million square feet of Class A office and industrial properties in the New York Tri-State area.
